Marbella town hall will invest 118,000 euros over the next three years in providing guided tours and specialised maintenance at the archaeological sites of the Vega de Mar Paleochristian basilica and the Las Bóvedas Roman baths, it has been announced.

Also in next year's budget is a further 50,000 euros which will see a project drawn up for the creation of a new visitors centre.

"Our objective is to demonstrate the value of these sites," said the director of Cultura de San Pedro.
