The Red Cross in Vélez-Málaga will be offering free memory stimulation courses for English-speakers from October.

The courses are designed for the over sixty-fives to help with sharpening the memory, helping with response time and logic skills. They will also teach technology skills, including how to use smartphones, as well as provide practical advice on living in Spain as well as information about Spanish culture and lifestyle.

Richard Weale, who is the English-speaking social intervention coordinator at Red Cross Vélez-Málaga said that the courses would provide a good opportunity to meet other English-speaking people in the Axarquía area.

The sessions will be held every Wednesday morning from 11am to 12.30pm at the Red Cross Centre, just off the A-356 near the La Palma garden centre in Vélez-Málaga. For further information email Richard Weale (29094social@cruzroja.es).
