The town hall of Manilva is planning to undertake building work in the town costing 628,000 euros this year. Among the projects planned are work to improve the roads, and in some cases the drainage and supply networks.

The councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, says that all the works have municipal funding and some will also receive grants from the Provincial Council.

Currently none of the residential developments in Manilva have been adopted by the local council and at the moment there is no budget for them, however the number of residents in these developments continues to grow and the council is proposing to assume part of the costs such as the public lighting, cleaning and security.
