Red Cross moves to modern facilities

The new facilities will be located on Calle Aceituneros in Vélez-Malaga

The Vélez-Málaga Red Cross inaugurated its new premises in Calle Aceituneros in the town last Friday.

During the opening ceremony, Cruz Roja head for the Axarquía, Eduardo Recio, stated that the new facilities were "modern, accessible, well situated and functional", adding, "this will enable the Red Cross to provide a service to people in the area".

British volunteer, Richard Weale, said: "The new office will enable us to offer workshops and activities in the heart of La Axarquia."
