Emergency services were called to two separate fires in the Torrox area last weekend. The first broke out in a field of stubble by the Torrox to Cómpeta road, while the second started in greenhouses in the Pecho la Torre area of El Morche.

Both are believed to have spread due to the high temperatures and strong winds the area experienced last Saturday and Sunday.
