Andalucía will be at the Fitur tourism fair in Madrid next week with more space than ever for local business owners.
The acting regional Tourism minister, Francisco Javier Fernández, said last week that his department had made an "extraordinary" effort to increase the presence of Andalusian business owners at the tourism fair. The space available in the Andalucía section to these professionals for meetings and presentations has gone from the 242 square metres in 2018 to 559 square metres.
Fernández said that at Fitur, which runs from 23 to 27 January, the region would be displaying its wealth as a varied and complete tourist destination.
Special attention will be paid to innovation in the tourism industry, with a special area for firms offering new technology, supported by the innovation centre Andalucía Lab.
