Officers in the town-hall-controlled Local Police in Malaga city have been showing off their new equipment for special operations.

The nation's Local Police aren't know for their frequent intervention in serious disturbances or criminal activity, leaving that for the government's National Police instead.

However sometimes needs must, and now the council has spent 100,000 euros on the new kit that also includes an extra adapted police vehicle and special protective and rescue tools.
