Braving the rain for Father Arnaiz

Many were hoping for a miracle but rain still affected the beatification of local priest Tiburcio Arnaiz at Malaga Cathedral on Saturday.

While the cathedral was packed to the rafters for the mass, there were a number of empty seats outside where crowds were following developments on a big screen.

The rain, however, couldn't stop the most devoted who came from far and wide and shared anecdotes about how Arnaiz had touched their lives.
