Former mayor of Mijas, and current PP candidate for the upcoming mayoral elections, Ángel Nozal, was in court this week accused of planning irregularities.
Nozal was called in after a court in Fuengirola initiated proceedings following a complaint that the then-mayor authorised construction of the headquarters of the Molino de Viento association without a the correct paperwork in place. What's more, it is located in a designated 'green' zone in the Parque Andalucía area.
This is not the only legal action current against Nozal. In fact, this is the sixth currently in motion, including a separate investigation into Parque Andalucía, 'caso Mijas', 'caso Subastas', the construction of the Mijas Comunicación building and the 'caso Sobresueldos'.
