Estepona lifeguards stop work over no pay

Beaches in Estepona went without vigilance, lifeguard and assisted bathing services on Tuesday and Wednesday as workers showed up for their shifts but refused to carry out their tasks.

This came after they failed to receive their wage for the month of June. The town hall says that the responsibility lies with the contractor, as they paid "ahead of time".
