Two arrested for racist aggression against Chinese student on train from Fuengirola

Two men accused of racially abusing Chinese student Iris Zhang on a train between Fuengirola and Malaga have been arrested thanks to her clever use of social media, through which the suspects were quickly identified.

Following the contribution of several Facebook users, the National Police launched an investigation into the incident and soon identified the two suspects.

The events took place on 29 April when Zhang was returning from Fuengirola after visiting the Feria de los Pueblos with friends.

Several boys were chanting racist slogans at her as well as hitting her in the face and threatening her with a lit cigarette.
