  • Teachers from all over Europe met in Motril

Secondary school teachers from Malaga joined colleagues from Greece, Italy, Finland and Spain in Motril recently for the final meeting of an EU-funded project to prevent school bullying and discrimination.

The Erasmus+ GRITFIS initiative brought together teachers from the Huelin, Salvador Rueda and Jesús Marín schools and the teaching training centre in Malaga; the host school Francisco Javier de Burgos in Motril; and the primary schools Postipuun and Tähtiniity in Finland, Mileon-Kalon Neron in Greece and a training centre in Italy.

The project has drawn the attention to the importance of emotional intelligence and the school climate to achieve better learning outcomes, as well as to highlight resources available to prevent and tackle school bullying and discrimination.

The meeting in Motril follows previous sessions in the other participating countries.
