Estepona council has announced that it will install extra facilities on the resort's beaches for people with reduced mobility next summer.

Canopies to give extra shade will be put up on Arroyo Vaquero, El Saladillo and Casasola beaches and the existing shades on El Cristo, El Padrón and La Rada beaches will be replaced.

These will be larger, measuring some 25 square metres, and will be put up alongside the shower units on the beaches which have been adapted for limited mobility use.

All chosen beaches have disabled access.

The council will also continue to offer its assisted-bathing service this summer using special equipment acquired in 2015.
