A court in Coín has denied bail to two of five new arrests on Tuesday in connection with the clash between rival gypsy gangs in the town three weeks ago.
In the street fight, two men from the same family were killed.
Two days after the incident on 4 January the first arrests were made from one of the two rival families known as 'los franceses', and this week police have moved to detain more people for investigation.
The latest detentions are from the other family, 'los mudos', sources said.
Of the five arrested this week, two have been denied bail and the other three have been released but have been banned from entering Coín.
Eyewitnesses have said that the fight between the rival families broke out over an argument over excessive noise at siesta time.
