A new recreational park, which cost more than 250,000 euros and covers approximately 1,000 square metres, has opened in Cártama.
Designed to expand the range of leisure and exercise facilities in Cártama, Parque Castillo includes a 25-metre rope slide, four water slides, various climbing and exercise frames and a special play area for children under the age of three. The park also has a picnic zone with fountains, bench seating and shaded areas.
The new leisure area was inaugurated by Jorge Gallardo, mayor of Cártama, and several representatives of Walssport Gestión Deportiva, the company responsible for the construction of the park.
The mayor expressed his gratitude to the residents of the town for their dedicated involvement in the project, since they chose the design and the name of the park.
