Frigiliana's councillor for tourism, Carmen Cerezo, presented the town's new promotional video last week.
The two-minute video, which can be watched on YouTube, will be used to promote the town through social networks and replaces the last one which was made in 2010.
The decision to make such a short video was made so that at would be “easier to watch on the internet”, according to the councillor.
The clip includes art, handcrafts, cultural events such as the Three Cultures festival, the gastronomy of the area -such as molasses produced at the only working sugar cane factory in the area- and olive oil, music, the local flora and fauna and traditions as well as views of the old town.
Cerezo said that it is “essential to have a strong online presence nowadays”.
