Los Álamos Beach Festival, a five-day summer electronic-music event, has failed in its bid to be granted a fresh licence for next year by Torremolinos council.
The town hall has said that the combination of complaints from neighbours in the Los Álamos district and the failure of organisers to keep the attendance level below 60,000 and control sound levels led to the rejection.
The event will instead be held from 1 to 5 August next year at an as-yet-unannounced venue in Estepona.
