Nerja tourism sector prepares for Japanese visitors

Businesses connected with the tourism sector in Nerja completed the first phase in a training programme aimed at teaching the sector how to welcome Japanese tourists.

The course included an introduction to Japanese, to the country, Japanese tourism in Spain and Japanese protocol.

The second phase, which has already started, focuses on translation and in particular the translation of the town's map. The full course is expected to take around two years to complete.
