The trial of former legionnaire, Julián Y. L., 64, accused of killing retired policeman Tomás A.M., stabbing him repeatedly with a 25cm-long, double-edged blade in the head, neck, chest and abdomen, has begun. The accused has confessed to his crimes but argues that he had killed the 74 year-old because he had 'done him a lot of harm' by revealing something he had told him in secret.
