A German technology giant is building a road circuit near Malaga to test its smart technology for cars, including on future driverless models.

While Google, Uber and Tesla compete to build the first self-driving cars, the German multinational Dekra, which develops software and applications for them, will use a road circuit on a 50,000-metre plot at the city’s Parque Tecnológico to test out its new ideas.

AT4Wireless, that has been on the high-tech campus for some time, is now part of Dekra.

The cost of the investment made hasn’t been revealed.
