Fuengirola has announced that measures to prevent terror attacks were to be stepped up following a meeting between the town hall and the central government representative, Miguel Briones.

Similar meetings, with the presence of the National Police, Local Police, Guardia Civil and the fire brigade, have been held in other towns on the Costa del Sol.

Briones said that it was necessary to intensify the provision of information and keep up the collaboration and coordination between all the security forces.
