Man held for stealing 500 euros of orchids

The orchids are believed to have been stolen last month

A 41-year-old Ukranian man has been arrested by police after he reportedly stole two orchids worth 500 euros from the Estepona Orchid House in May.

The owners of the botanical gardens only discovered that two of the most expensive and rarest specimens of orchids had disappeared on Monday. Video surveillance appeared to show the Torremolinos man putting them into his pocket.
