Benalmádenas councillor responsible for foreign residents affairs, Ana Scherman, recently paid a visit to the weekly coffee morning organised by Age Care Association. The councillor chatted to volunteers and the elderly clients who get together every Monday morning at Bar Pitanza in Bonanza Square. The group, made up of around 40 English-speaking residents, is led by volunteer Gina Foster, who has organised the group for many years and often provides help for elderly residents during the week. The organisation, which has the support of the local town hall, is looking for volunteers to join Gina and the group in Benalmádena. More information is available on the charitys website www.agecarecosta.org.
