Two police officers were assaulted by British tourists at Malaga airport last week. According to police, the visitors, of African ethnicity, were unable to find their passports on departing the airport so were asked to step aside from the queue until they found them. This resulted in them becoming aggressive, accusing the police of being racist. When one officer accidentally tripped over the four-year-old child of one of them, the two men became violent and left one officer with a black eye and the other with a deep cut to his ear. The tourists were arrested, missing their flight.
