The Kuwaiti owners of Costa del Sol Torremolinos Luxury Boutique Hotel, which is designed specifically for wealthy Arabic Muslims, are already looking to expand their high-end hotel chain along the coast.
The news came after the manager of the recently opened Torremolinos branch, Julio García, revealed on Wednesday that the hotel is already 80 per cent full, less than four months after it opened its doors to guests.
Alongside its luxurious facilities of a jacuzzi, gym and panoramic terrace, the Torremolinos hotel is only the second in Spain to boast an all-halal menu as well as alcohol-free bars, 36 Mecca-facing hotel rooms and a prayer room, which all help to accommodate the needs of its Muslim guests.
García added that the Kuwaiti owners fell in love with Torremolinos in the sixties which is why they chose it as the location of their first hotel outside of Kuwait. But in light of the new hotels success, market research is now being carried out to help the owners decide upon the best location of their next Costa del Sol hotel.
The owners hope to have another luxury hotel, also designed specifically for Muslim clientele, up and running within the next few years.
