Guardia Civil and National Police forces have dismantled a gang that was using explosives to blow up ATM machines in Andalucía.
The masked men would inject acetylene gas into the ATMs through rubber tubes, which would then be connected by rods to a car battery to blow the machines up.
Six individuals of mostly South American origin , who are believed to have committed robberies in Cadiz, Seville, Malaga and Jaén, were arrested. Three houses were also searched where fake passports, driving licences and identity cards from different countries were found.
