Two of Estepona's main archaeological sites, the Corominas megalithic acropolis and the Las Torres Roman villa will change hands over the course of the next few weeks.
Both sites were put out to tender and the contracts were won by local businesswoman Cristina Ocaña who will run the sites for the next two years and is charged with attracting a greater audience for the monuments and increasing the sites' footprint in the local community.
According to Ocaña, she expects more than 5,000 visitors for each centre this year.
