Nowadays, not all of the original Paseo de los Ingleses is accessible. Part of it was closed off by the Caja de Ahorros in Ronda to provide privacy for swimmers in a pool it built on land it owned there for workers to use.
Later, the Juan de la Rosa school incorporated some of it into a playground.
The part which can still be visited has been remodelled in recent years by local architect Sergio Valadez and it is a spectacular place to walk and admire the views.
Many local people would like it to be reopened completely again as a tourist attraction, or even for it to be extended as far as the Bodega Descalzos or Puerto de las Muelas.
