The 1st Fuengirola Scout Group is looking for more adult volunteers to help young people aged between six and 18 develop skills for life. The group, which is part of British Scouting Overseas, is particularly looking for a volunteer to help and assist the Explorer Unit (14 to 18 age group).

Adult volunteers in Scouting have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young people, as well as boosting their own motivation and confidence and learning new skills, said Group Scout Leader Robert Troost.

The Beavers (aged six to eight) and Cubs (eight to ten), meet on Thursday evenings at the Ark Christian School, Las Lagunas, Mijas. The Scouts (aged 10 to 14) and Explorers meet on Fridays at the same venue. For more information call or email Robert (610 755 995 / robert.troost@britishscoutingoverseas.org.uk) or visit www.fuengirolascouts.com.
