The largest fair for international, contemporary art on the Costa del Sol celebrates its fifth edition this week, coming to an end this Saturday 3 August.
Already on Monday, one day before the official opening, hundreds of art lovers had gathered at the Marbella congress centre, where 40 galleries from different countries are showcasing works by painters, graphic designers, sculptors, photographers and other artists represented by them.
The majority of these galleries are located in Spain and seven of them are in Marbella: Reiners Contemporary Art, Es Arte, Messeg Sculptures, Nouvelle Vague, Shulet Abghari, Waldström Tönnheim and Excellence Art.
Other well-known exhibitors have come from New York, Buenos Aires, Toronto, Miami, Paris, Vienna and Lisbon.
This year, the exhibition focuses on major artistic projects such as the fascinating portrait photographs by Jesús Chacón, portraying people from Marbella's cultural scene.
The fair is open until 3 August from 6pm until 10.30pm. Admission costs between 8 and 12 euros.
