The Quirónsalud hospital in Marbella opened its 13 new rooms last week, equipped with the latest digital technology, as part of the hospital's 'habitación digital' project.
The new spaces, which include three suites, come with resources such as a tablet.
This newly introduced technology will allow patients to call their families, give them access to entertainment, have greater contact with the nurses station, and even control their own room's lighting and temperature, among other features.
The changes will "transform doctor-patient communication" stated Antonio Feria, Quirónsalud managing director.
The opening comes after a one-million-euro investment in the facility.
