Spa day raises 600 euros for Malaga's Los Ángeles de la Noche charity

  • Clients donated money to receive massages, Reiki and other treatments and local therapists donated their time to the cause

The Axarquía-based Food for Change association raised 600 euros for the Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche by holding a spa day at La Vaqueria in Benamargosa last week.

A number of local therapists donated their services, which included aromatherapy massages, Reiki, Thai massages and reflexology, and clients donated money for each therapy they had done.

Su Derrick, owner of La Vaqueria café and arts space in the village, hosted the event.

Los Ángeles de la Noche is a food bank based in Malaga, which provides hot meals for the homeless and people who are unable to afford to buy food. Over the last six years, the spa days have raised 7,250 euros for the charity.
