  • An event at Malaga's Automobile Museum took place last weekend raising thousands for charity

Scores of classic cars took to the streets of Malaga last Sunday for an event organised by the city's automobile museum.

The gathering, the fourth Caravana Solidaria, brought together classic car enthusiasts and their motors in order to raise money for Madad, a Red Cross programme offering medical attention to Syrian refugees.

"It is a good opportunity to get together for charity and, at the same time, have a fun weekend," said Javier Gómez, a spectator at the event.

Through the collaboration of local businesses and individuals, a crowdfunding page and the sales of products on the day, the event managed to raise 5,752 euros for the charity organisation.
