Motorbike rally for charity
Motorbike clubs from all over the region attended a special rally in Alhaurín el Grande last Sunday. The rally is organised every year by the Motoclub Fahala de Alhaurín el Grande to raise money for charity. Hundreds of bikers met up in the feria ground for the event which included an exhibition of classic motorbikes and cars, as well as a visit by some of the Radical Iberia competition cars belonging to NASCAR Fans España.
A tradition over the years, rockets were set off in memory of bikers who had passed away, this was made all the more poignant this year as the funds raised this year will go to Un Sí Por La Vida, a charity which helps patients suffering from cancer in Alhaurín el Grande and the rest of the region. The charity offers specialised physiotherapy, yoga, psychological assistance, group activities and informative chats for people with the disease.
