La Cala De Mijas Lions
Irania gets a helping hand
The look on Irania Berrocal Benjuma's face said it all for members of the La Cala de Mijas Lions Club. The club donated 6,500 euros for a platform hoist to help Irania get to and from ADIMI in Fuengirola.
And this is not the first time the Lions have been able to help her and other individuals with mobility difficulties. They raised nearly 60,000 euros last year, and are already well on their way to beating it this year.
La Cala de Mijas Lions are always looking for new members and also volunteers for their charity shop in Calle Torremolinos in La Cala. This year the club celebrates 20 years of service to the local community on the Costa del Sol.
