The Parque de la Constitución in Marbella is going green this weekend with two days of Guiness and traditional Irish music.
This Saturday and Sunday, a wide variety of live performances from artists such as 'Celtic fusion band' The Stolen Gnomes, Sean Murray and the well-known, multi-instrumentalist and singer, Finbar Furey, will take place.
After 30 years in the family band, Finbar Furey pursued a solo career, and now, at 70 years of age, he is not showing signs of slowing down.
After the release of his new album Paddy Dear earlier this year, Finbar went on a nationwide tour of his homeland, with performances in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Limerick. This weekend, he has opted for a change of scenery and brings his music to the Costa del Sol.
Finbar and the other acts will be playing live on both days of the weekend.
Acts will be compered by Dublin comedian, Al Foran, who has become famous after his celebrity impressions went viral on Facebook and Twitter.
Entry to the event is free, and entertainment begins at 12pm and finishes at 10pm on both days.
Food will be available, catered by the Marbella-based Beacon Gastro Bar and drinks supplied by The Claddagh Irish bar.
The event has been organised in partnership with The Claddagh Irish Bar and Marbella town hall.
