A bohemian voyage through gypsy music

Pinchas Zukerman and the violinist Paul Neubauer are the headline acts in the Málaga Clásica festival which runs until Sunday. Following this year’s theme of gypsy culture, the organisers hope to take attendees on a “bohemian voyage through Romani music” with a series of five concerts taking places at the Cervantes and Echegaray theatres and the Albéniz cinema, all in Malaga.

International soloists Amanda Forsyth and Øyvind Gimse will join the cast to perform a repertoire of works from Bártok, Sarasate, Turina, Bizet, Brahms and Schubert, mixed with pieces by Paco de Lucía, José María Cano and Dana Wilson.
