On Tuesday 9th May, top chef Dani Garcia, owner of the Michelin starred Dani García Restaurante in the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella, arrived at the English International College to talk to the students.
Dani demonstrated some of the extensive culinary skills which have earned two Michelin stars for his restaurant, to enthralled audiences throughout the morning.
He gave a talk on life-skills and the benefits of eating healthily, offering advice on many aspects of haute cuisine and also some simple kitchen skills and tips.
At the end of the morning he made a visit to the school kitchens where he met the resident head chef and his staff.
The variety of menus on offer and the experience and skills of the catering staff earned them his seal of approval.
