The T.I.M.S. choir performed at the Lux Mundi ecumenical service held recently in the open air in the Plaza de la Constitución, Fuengirola. With choristers from over eight nationalities, the choir performed two works: A Clare Benediction by John Rutter; and When I Needed a Neighbour, a modern hymn by Sydney Carter. T.I.M.S. (The International Music Society) is now in search of a replacement pianist as Christine Langley Wallner, who has supported the choristers for the last few years, is returning to Canada in a few months’ time. Any classically trained pianist interested in taking on the role is invited to contact Gilly on 654 891 790. For more information visit www.timschoir.org
