Specsavers competition offers cash prizes to entrants with the most ‘specs appeal’

Specsavers has launched its annual Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition which aims to provide a platform for people to showcase their style and personality while wearing their glasses.

The campaign will run until 11 June, with designer frames up for grabs for five semifinalists and a cash prize of 1,000 euros on offer for the winner.

Organisers are delighted to have blogger Bea Pla as the face of this year’s competition.

The fashion lover from Valencia started her blog in 2013 when she decided to combine her passion for fashion with her love of photography.

Since then she has featured in various magazines, been selected as a Marie Claire IT girl and modelled in the Glamour Street Fashion Show.

“We believe that her image will inspire others to show the world how good they look in their glasses,” said José Ángel Moral-Tajadura, commercial director of Specsavers Opticas.
