Benavista Bowls Club opened its doors on Sunday for a fun day celebration to mark St Georges Day.

Members and visitors dressed in red and white - and the odd silly hat - for a not-too-serious trips competition.

Mike Old, Audrey Shakesheff and Yvonne Paige were the winners and each received a bottle of wine.

The bowling was followed by an English lunch of bangers and mash followed by strawberries and cream.
