A large crowd of ADANA volunteers, members, supporters and the public took part in the fourth annual Great ADANA Dog Outing in Estepona on Sunday. Eleven dogs from the ADANA kennels were walked from the Palacio de Congresos, Estepona, along the Paseo Maritimo. They were accompanied by families with their canine companions, many of which were adopted from ADANA.
Just under 2,000 euros in donations were raised for the dog rescue and rehoming charity.
“Thanks to events like this and public generosity, as well as our volunteers, we are able to get funds to carry on with our work of caring for and finding homes for abandoned and unwanted dogs”, said Reg Winkworth, ADANA Treasurer.
Reg also thanked ADANA Secretary Lyn Bessant, Andy Sprake, Vesa and Tina who helped with the preparations and volunteer Sandra Walker Kincaid who selected the ADANA dogs chosen for the walk.
