Malaga's Picasso museum launches a new era

The new collection is worth 500 million euros and has been loaned for three years by the artist's grandson, Bernard Ruiz-Picasso

Picasso's grandson, Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, was in Malaga on Monday to unveil the new collection on display from Tuesday at the Malaga Picasso Museum (MPM).

He was joined by director, José Lebrero, who explained that the new collection marks the start of a new era for the museum.

The new collection consists of 166 works which have been loaned by Bernard Ruiz-Picacco for a period of three years. The works have been valued at 500 million euros.
