Cruise ship calls in to Gib on for fuel and supplies

The cruise liner Viking Sea made a short visit to Gibraltar on Wednesday to take on fuel and supplies and dispose of waste. This was a purely technical call, as the ship was carrying no passengers and the crew were not permitted to disembark due ... to the coronavirus lockdown. Shore staff were not allowed to board the ship either. The Gibraltar government, which has suspended all normal cruise ship visits during the coronavirus crisis, issued a statement beforehand to prevent speculation.
