Last-minute agreement means no strike in the Malaga hospitality sector

The tourism sector in Malaga breathed a huge sigh of relief when agreement was reached in the early hours of Tuesday morning which meant that there would not, after all, be a strike by hotel staff and bar and restaurant workers during the peak ... after eight hours of negotiations which were described as "intense". Protest march in Malaga over salaries and conditions in the hospitality sector

The CC OO and UGT unions have organised a protest demonstration this morning, Friday 15 June, to support workers in the hospitality sector who are threatening to go on strike in July, August and September.
