Fuengirola moves to protect ruins of Roman baths in Torreblanca

Fuengirola council has bought a private plot of land in Torreblanca which contains important Roman ruins dating from the first century BC. The ruins alongside the N-340 were once a bathhouse and were declared of special historical interest in 2005 ... but until now have lain abandoned as the council tried to persuade the owners to sell.
