Memorial plaque for Benalmádena Ombú tree poet

In a campaign to recognise celebrated writers and artists, Benalmádena town hall has honoured Pablo García Baena, a Cordoba poet who died earlier this year. Baena had lived in Benalmádena Costa for many years and was inspired to write a poem about ... a large Ombú tree that he passed each day. The poem, Ombú, has been inscribed onto a plaque that has recently been installed next to the tree in Avenida Antonio Machado. The plaque is illustrated with an image of the poet.
