Picasso and friends move into Vélez-Málaga's contemporary arts centre

An exhibition showing 52 works of art by Picasso, his friends and teachers (Picasso, Amigos y Maestros) opened last week at Vélez-Málaga's contemporary arts centre (CAC). As well as 19 paintings, ceramics and lithographs by the artist himself, the ... exhibition also offers the opportunity for visitors to see works by other famous artists including Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, Georges Braque, Marc Chagall and Foujita. The exhibition is spread over four rooms and a life- size painting of Picasso, by Malaga ... room four is given over the masters that acted as teachers to Picasso. Free entry to Malaga's museums and monuments this Sunday

The Royal Academy of Arts in London is about to open the most complete exhibition ever to have been organised about Pablo Picasso's use of paper.
