Ojén residents to design village flag

Members of residents' associations in the village of Ojén have been offered the chance to design a new flag for the village. The entries will be displayed to the public and the winner of the competition will receive 500 euros. Mayor José Antonio ... Ojén town hall removes monument dedicated to Nazi after seven months

A monument which bore the name of Juan Hoffman has finally been removed in Ojén. This comes seven months after the town hall unanimously decided to change the name of the square to Plaza Alemania, which is situated opposite of the German School, ... the Blue Division (División Azul), a favour returned by Franco to assist the Nazis in their Soviet invasion. Water supply guaranteed for southern Ojén and northern Marbella

Name of "Nazi suspect" to be removed from square in Ojén

Ojén town hall has decided to change the name of Plaza Juan Hoffmann, which is opposite the German school in the La Mairena area. It comes after information came to light alleging that Hoffmann, founder of the school, was linked to Nazism.
