A month of change

Rob Palmer opinion

Barcelona have made the perfect winning start to the season while Real Madrid’s cloak of invincibility has a tear in it. The only player to win absolute plaudits is Luka Modric. He’s just celebrated his 32nd birthday which is normally long past the

Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric all rested in the wake of their midweek Champions League exertions, the burden of responsibility fell on the Spaniard and he duly delivered. He was greeted at the start of the game by cheers from the home
